For best screenplay...

Someday in the future they will be arguing over whether "Ass" or "Ow! My Balls: The Movie" was funnier.

As for funniest movie overall, that is a real tough call. "The Jerk" is a decent nomination, though, but I'm not sure I would call it my personal pick. I might even nominate "Idiocracy" itself, though I feel just as much fear and loathing as I do amusement when I see it.

The only one of those "(Genre Title Here) Movie" series I've seen all the way through is Scary Movie 4, and I went to see it solely because I've missed seeing Leslie Nielson do anything. Good grief, I couldn't believe how bad it was. It honestly reminded me of the types of comedies my classmates would write in grade school. I remember in about the 6th grade being asked to write a funny story as a group project, and I always loathed group projects for good reason. Everybody through in random jokes, 3/4 of which were pop culture references totally unrelated to one another. The teacher was disappointed and I was ashamed to be in the group. I guess the joke's on both of us, apparently the resulting nonsense story was a recipe for Hollywood "success" in the future. The closest I've come to a movie as bad as that recently was "Bee Movie."

Would you like some EXTRA BIG ASS FRIES?!
