05/15/08: What's wrong with calling a spade a spade?

Comparing black people to monkeys is racist. To deny that simple fact is to deny centuries of actual open racism that used such comparisons freely in a clear and overtly derogatory manner. Nobody could possibly be ignorant of that fact, so the deliberate use of such comparisons is done with such ideas firmly in mind: specifically it is done to be derogatory towards someone solely based on their race. Therefore, it is the very definition of racism.
